TCS Favorites | Childhood Edition

*I was an avid reader from about the time I turned 10 until, well, forever. I fell in love with books and haven’t looked back since. Here are some of my favorite books from my adolescent years.

My favorite childhood books.

The Uglies Series
By Scott Westerfeld

The Lord of the Rings
By JRR Tolkien

The Hobbit
By JRR Tolkien

The Inheritance Cycle
By Christopher Paolini

A Great and Terrible Beauty series
By Libba Bray

His Dark Materials series
By Philip Pullman

Fire Bringer
By David Clement-Davies

The Sight
By David Clement-Davies

Anne of Green Gables series
By Lucy Maud Montgomery

The Old Kingdom series
By Garth Nix

Artemis Fowl series
By Eoin Colfer

Ella Enchanted
By Gail Carson Levine

The Two Princesses of Bamarre
By Gail Carson Levine

This is just a short list of books. I used to track my reading back then and one day I decided that I didn’t need to keep my journal and I tossed it. *Insert weeping face* I can’t remember all the books that I read. Usually, it takes me seeing the cover or someone bringing it up in conversation for me to remember it. The good news is I started tracking my reading again at the beginning of this year. At least I will have records from now on.

Happy reading,

P.S. Do you track your reading? How long have you been doing it? I’m so curious to know!
